About this list
Most of the public-sector work on this page is Microsoft and ServiceNow platform delivery run as a managed service, with operated AI systems beside it. The platform work is largely Irish: Storm Technology built citizen services on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform for Limerick City & County Council and case management for the Labour Court, Spanish Point Technologies built PAMS for the National Treatment Purchase Fund, live in 40 public and 18 private hospitals, and TEKenable's AI is a component, detecting patient-identifiable information in media uploaded to the training platform it built for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Version 1's Department of Social Protection work is a 2026 framework award, not yet a delivery.
The operated AI is narrower and better documented. Adnovum's Berna takes Gebäudeversicherung Bern's claim calls in parallel during storms at up to 2,700 a day, transcribing Swiss German dialect into structured claim files; Adnovum runs the managed service on Spitch's speech layer, and Berna covers storm and hail claims in German only. Pexon Consulting's speech documentation at Klinikum Landsberg am Lech, live since March 2025, pseudonymizes audio inside the hospital and had transcribed more than 1,300 consultations.
The sorting question is what the retainer pays for: operating an AI system, or maintaining the platform an AI feature may later sit on. For the first, ask what a successor contractor would receive at re-tender—call flows, the speech vendor contract, pseudonymization keys—and in whose tenant the audio sits. For the second, ask for a named AI system already in production on that platform, not the roadmap slide.

Expert Insight
Why Public Sector experience matters
Procurement fluency—Tender rules, framework agreements, and evaluation criteria shape what can be bought and how. Specialists write compliant bids and structure engagements to fit thresholds; agencies new to public buying lose months learning the process on your calendar
AI Act depth where it bites hardest—Many public-sector uses sit in the EU AI Act's high-risk tier, with risk-management, logging, human-oversight, and registration duties. Specialists deliver the documentation as a work product, not a promise
Explainability as an acceptance criterion—Automated decisions touching citizens must be explainable to the citizen, the caseworker, and eventually an auditor. Specialists design plain-language explanation into the system; retrofitting it after a complaint is the expensive version
Accountability-grade delivery—Public projects end up in audit reports. Specialists document decisions, data sources, and model changes to the standard an oversight body applies, and they design human handoff into every citizen-facing flow rather than treating it as a failure state
