Contiamo
Berlin, Germany
About
Contiamo is a Berlin data and AI consultancy building generative-AI assistants, machine-learning models and data infrastructure for German companies and municipal enterprises.
Who They Work With
German municipal utilities, housing companies and consumer brands adding GPT-based assistants to customer service and content work.
Based on 4 client engagements with a source URL · researched 27 Sept 2026
Our Take
Four clients are quoted by name and job title on Contiamo's site, and three describe systems in use: Stadtwerke Bonn's GPT-4o customer chatbot, running for over a year after an earlier churn model that reached a 25% hit rate; company-specific chatbots rolled out across the Gewobag housing group; and a multilingual product-text generator for fashion brand BRAX that connects to its ERP and PIM systems.
No case-study page stands behind these quotes—the case-study link on record returns an access error—so none of them states the architecture, the evaluation method or a result beyond the client's own words.
The 22-logo client wall carries no descriptions, and several of the same logos reappear on the conference page as companies whose staff attended past editions, so only the four quoted clients count as documented work here.
The weaker fit is buyers who want to inspect architecture and evaluation evidence before the first call: what is published stops at the model name and the systems it integrates with.
Key strengths
- Named client quotes with job titles: Stadtwerke Bonn's Director Customer Service, Gewobag's Head of IT, a BRAX management board member and Medialine's business development manager
- Production claims come from the clients themselves: a municipal-utility website chatbot running for over a year, and group-wide employee chatbots at a Berlin housing company with more work planned
- Named technical leads (a Head of Engineering and a Head of Generative AI), a monthly column on model and licensing news, and an invite-only GenAI conference in Berlin now in its fourth edition
Good to know
- No case study is published—ask for the architecture, evaluation results and current usage of the Stadtwerke Bonn chatbot or the BRAX text generator before shortlisting
- Most of the 22 logos carry no description and several double as conference-attendee logos—ask which were paid engagements and what was delivered for each
- No rate is published—ask for day rates and whether ongoing development (the BRAX tool is described as continuously developed further) is billed as a retainer
