About this list
Agent systems are the least mature category in enterprise AI and the one where published evidence matters most, because the gap between an agent demo and an agent a large organization will operate is enormous. The documented work here has crossed it. Artefact's Bpifrance deployment put agents in front of 500 employees at a public investment bank. Converteo's voice agent for Orange publishes architecture rationale, latency figures, adversarial testing and a production date. Datatonic's spending assistant for the Swiss bank Alpian is customer-facing under FINMA supervision, built on Google's Agent Development Kit with a Model Context Protocol server translating questions into SQL so the model never touches the database directly. Modulai's multi-agent retrieval system for Novo Nordisk pulls clinical-trial evidence in production, and AI Sisters ran an agent program inside ENGIE's global transformation.
Ask two questions of every candidate. What can the agent not do—the permission boundary is the design, and teams that have deployed at scale answer with specifics. And how is it evaluated in production—the answer should involve monitoring, escalation and human review, not confidence in the model. The evidence lines on each card show whose agent work is documented versus adjacent.

Expert Insight
Why enterprise fit matters for AI Agents
Enterprise AI fails at the surroundings, not the model: procurement, security review, model documentation and adoption budgets decide outcomes, and an agency that has cleared them before will price and plan for them unprompted.
Reference checks work differently at this scale—an agency with two documented enterprise engagements can name a buyer who survived the same internal scrutiny yours will apply.
The pilot-to-production gap is widest here: ask for case studies that describe operations and handover, because a proof of concept that never shipped is the modal enterprise AI outcome.
Frequently asked questions
23 agencies in our directory combine verified enterprise client evidence with documented AI Agents work. The current top-ranked are AI Sisters, Modulai, Merixstudio — ordered by depth of documented client evidence, then our editorial scoring (portfolio quality, credibility, completeness); placement is never paid.
Published rates across this page's agencies run €20–130 per hour (median ~€65). Project totals depend on scope — the rate index at /rates breaks the computed bands down by region, country and team size.
Each listed agency has at least two documented, named enterprise clients — published case studies or engagement descriptions our research actually read, with source URLs stored per client. Logo walls without published evidence carry no weight, which is what separates this list from self-declared directories.
