About

Algoretico is a Milan AI software house building multimodal search, conversational avatars, quotation automation and lead-profiling systems for industrial, financial and research organizations.

Who They Work With

Italian manufacturers and financial firms with awkward data—CAD, drawings, voice—that a text-only search will not reach.

Clients:B2B

Based on 2 client engagements with a source URL · researched 9 Sept 2026

Our Take

The technical writing is real. For the packaging manufacturer ILPRA, the build is a multimodal search system over text, images, vector drawings and CAD files, using CLIP and Flamingo alongside geometric analysis, with retrieval-augmented generation on top so a designer can ask in plain language whether a component already exists.

The Azimut work is a voice avatar for a large Italian asset manager: speech recognition, speech synthesis and retrieval-augmented generation embedded into the client's own systems, published as a prototype rather than a deployment.

Eleven case histories are published, every one of them dated to a single day in April 2025, and none carries a measured result. The ILPRA study reports a reduction in design time without a figure attached.

The weaker fit is a buyer who needs the number before the architecture, because this portfolio explains how things were built and not what changed.

Key strengths

  • Architecture is named where most firms write "AI-powered": CLIP and Flamingo for multimodal retrieval, geometric analysis for CAD, retrieval-augmented generation over a vector store
  • The published work spans awkward data types—CAD files, vector drawings, voice—rather than staying on text
  • Eleven case histories across manufacturing, finance, food service and research, with more than fifty people stated

Good to know

  • Not one case history publishes a measured result; ask what the design-time reduction at ILPRA actually was
  • The Azimut avatar is published as a prototype—ask what reached production and how many advisors use it
  • Every case history carries the same April 2025 date and the site is Italian only; ask for a recent engagement and confirm the working language
